I increased my speed today!
By increasing my speed for both walking and jogging by 0.2, I increased my miles by 0.10! Since I do my workouts by time instead of mileage I was curious if I was even coming close to the recommended mileage.
For the workout I did today, minus the brisk walk, I should have completed 2.25 miles (I think I completed 2.10), which means I am slightly under the recommended mileage. Ughhh!
Today's workout: walked at a pace of 4 jogged at a pace of 5.6 for a
total of 30 minutes (which included my 5 minute brisk walk warm-up) resulted in 2.42 miles.
