4-mile week

For the next two weeks I am doing 4-mile workouts. As with my previous workout weeks I will focus on running at various speeds and walking at a speed of 4.0.
My purpose for doing this workout is to increase not only my overall speed but to also work on my distance in small increments in order to prevent additional or repeated injuries to my left knee.
It has been 11 days since my last run due to illness and traveling so I kept my speeds low, waking at a speed at 4.0 and jogged at 6.0.
