Numbers

I just caught a portion of a talk show while flipping the channel, yes I am a channel flipper not a television watcher, and thought I would share what I saw.

With the assistance of the 'info' button on the remote control, the television show was "The Talk" and David Zinczenko author of Eat This Not That, a Supermarket Survival Guide, shared a few numbers, that I would like to share with you!

450
100
38,000
15
3,500

So what  is your guess on what those numbers mean?

450 are the amount of calories that the average person consumes in beverages alone, on a daily basis.

100 grams of protein you should eat each day for a maximum weight loss, this equates to about 15-25% of your daily calorie intake.

38,000 the number of different products within the average supermarket.

15 the maximum percentage (%) of your daily calories that should come from junk food.

3,500 the amount of calories that equal one (1) pound of fat.
