End of the world?

So the Mayan calendar ended, but does that truly mean it is the end of the world? We aren't sure at the Brady Bunch house, but we are going to live it up as if it's our last!

The morning started with hell freezing over, okay just the south, but some believe that is hell!

See the ! and the 3, those were all warnings and reminders for us southerners that since we had extreme rain (and a few tornadoes) yesterday, that there were higher possibilities of areas having black ice or frozen over water.

After all the kids woke up (about 8:30) we opted to have cake for breakfast, because lets be honest if it truly is the end of the world cake is way better than cereal...duh!

The rest of the afternoon consisted of making banana bread and watching movies. Although I couldn't get them to watch 2012, Independence Day, or Armageddon, we did enjoy a few short Christmas movies, Goonies, and Brave, along with some popcorn and some coloring!

For dinner I made their favorite Mac and Cheese (gag me!!! I had a salad) along with a huge pan of ribs.

To top off our day, I won the worst mom of the year award by leaving Breanna in the bath tub for almost 2 hours. I guess she didn't hear me tell her to get out AND no one else (the other 4 people in the house!) noticed she was no where to be seen OR heard while I ran for an hour!

Our night ended with a few more movies (on television), a few tournaments of Foosball, and video games.
